About our fees
Shopping around provides great insight as to how much an agent will charge to manage your property.
Some agencies boast that technical advances mean that they can considerably reduce their fee to look after your home. The truth is however, that technology does not negate the need for someone to personally know what’s going on with your home. To engage with the tenants from time to time. To drive past and pop in.
Tenants need to be spoken to. Inspections need to be carried out by real people. Tradespeople need to be engaged and their work personally checked. An investor client wants to speak to someone familiar with their property, to feel that they really know what is going on.
Other agencies manage thousands of properties, for less than it costs to actually look after them properly. So as not to make a loss, those companies then employ inexperienced clerks to act as the Property Manager, leading to all sorts of problems.
Our aim is to reduce our client’s stress, not complicate matters. Our charges are simple, fair for all parties, and transparent. With 30 years Property Management experience and an assurance that we will only ever manage less than 150 properties, our service is attentive and professional.
We appreciate however, that everyone is looking to save a dollar and we want to provide great service for a competitive price. For this reason we provide tailor made management packages at varying cost, to fit in with an investor’s budget.
Examples of our Management Packages:
Simply Accounting – we collect the rent and provide you with a monthly statement – $100 per month;
Budget – 5.5% management Fee + opt in services (pay as you go).
Platinum – 7.7% Management Fee – includes all opt in services for no additional charge. Does not include advertising or letting fee.
Flat Fee – Dependent upon the weekly rent and starting at $100 per week – this covers absolutely everything (including letting fee, advertising, management fees, etc).
